What is Worship Like?
8:45am Summer Riverside Worship
It all begins with a beautiful view. On select Sundays, we gather by the river—under the pavilion—for a relaxed time of worship and connection. Friends catch up, coffee is in hand, and the rhythm is simple: a few songs, a thoughtful message, and space to meet God in the beauty of creation. Chairs are provided, or feel free to bring your favorite camp chair. While childcare isn’t available during this service, children are always welcome and encouraged to worship alongside their families.
10am Traditional Service
Worship in our historic sanctuary is offered year-round, and all are welcome. Each Sunday, we gather as a community to worship God through music, prayer, and a thoughtful sermon. During the service, children are invited to participate in age-appropriate worship led by our Children’s Ministry Director. The nursery is also open and lovingly staffed by volunteers to care for our littlest ones.
After worship, we invite you to join us in the commons for coffee, donuts, and heartfelt fellowship.
A FEW MORE TIPS
There are no assigned seats and no names etched into pews. You’re free to sit wherever you feel most comfortable—whether that’s near a friend, by a window, or tucked quietly in the back. This is a space for everyone.
Bring the kids—church is for them, too. We offer a nursery for infants through age 2, and a children’s worship program designed for older kids, too! Of course, children are always welcome to stay with you in worship. If we can’t make church relevant for a first grader, that’s our problem, not yours.
We invite visitors to arrive a few minutes early to say hello to our pastor and settle in. During worship, our ushers are happy to help—whether you’re looking for the restrooms or curious about the stories behind our stained glass windows. They’re here to make you feel at home.
